Maruti e-Vitara is keeping some of the details on secret.Important information about charging time includes the fact that the Mahindra BE 6 supports a 175kW DC fast charger in addition to 11.2kW and 7.3kW AC chargers, while the Hyundai Creta electric requires 58 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% via a DC fast charger and 4 hours to fully charge via an 11kW AC wall box charger. In just 20 minutes, a fast charger can charge the battery from 20% to 80%. Whereas the 7.3kW AC charger requires 11.7 hours (79kWh) or 8.7 hours (59kWh) to fully charge the battery, the 11.2kW AC charger can do so in 8 hours (79kWh) or 6 hours (59kWh).  The e-Vitara SUV’s charging time and capabilities have not yet been disclosed by Maruti Suzuki.
The Maruti e-Vitara will be in stores by March 2025, while the Hyundai Creta Electric will start on sale at the Auto Expo on January 17.
